It feels like we’ve been looking at deals all month, but today is the actual day – the day after Thanksgiving known as Black Friday. Here are some of the best deals that we managed to find in the US. We’ve broken them down into categories to try and make them easier to navigate.
Don’t forget to have a look out our Deals page, it is automatically refreshed with the most recent price and you can see a price history for the phones to make sure you are actually getting a good deal.
This year you can finally buy a foldable phone like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G for under $1,000 – for a dollar less if you’re paying regular prices or $150 less with this deal on Amazon that knocks the price down to $850 for the 128 GB model. This offer also comes with a discount on a pair of Galaxy Buds2.
Amazon has all the colors, but the Bespoke edition of the phone is available only on Samsung.com. The regular price is discounted by $150, but since the Bespoke model is a bit pricier than the regular one, the final price is $950. On the plus side, you get a free pair of Galaxy Buds2. Samsung also has the regular version of the Z Flip3 and while the discount is only $100, you do get a pair of Buds2 for free.
If you prefer a larger screen, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G from Samsung.com is $250 down, so it starts at $1,650 (it also comes with free Buds2). As a reminder, Samsung is accepting trade-ins of old phones (even with a cracked screen), tablets and smartwatches, so you can get that price a lot lower.
While it is less advanced that the Flip, the Motorola Razr 5G has an iconic look – whether that makes the $800 price tag is for you to decide, but if the answer is “yes”, then here’s the offer over at Amazon and at Best Buy.
If foldable are still above your budget, a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (Snapdragon 865) can be bought off Amazon at a $150 discount for a price of $550 (this is for the 6/128 GB version). You can go even lower with a Galaxy A52 5G also from Amazon for $400 ($100 off).
You can also check out the S21 series – the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra are $100, $150 and $200 off, respectively. Head over to Samsung to see how much trade-in credit you can get for an old device. Also, with the phone you get a $50 discount on the Galaxy Buds Pro.
Another Snapdragon 888 flagship you can pick up is the OnePlus 9 Pro – Amazon and Best Buy are selling it with a 25% discount, so the 12/256 GB model is down to $800. Amazon and Best Buy also have the vanilla OnePlus 9 (8/128 GB) for $600, though if you’re in the market for a cheap 5G phone, the OnePlus Nord N200 is down to $200 ($40 off) on Amazon and on Best Buy.
There’s a nice list of Motorola phones on offer too. The original Motorola Edge (Snapdragon 765G, 6/256 GB) can be found for $400 (that’s $300 below MSRP) on Amazon. The newer Motorola Edge (2021) (Snapdragon 778G, 8/256 GB) is available for $600 on Amazon and Best Buy.
The Motorola One 5G Ace (the non-mmWave version, 6/128 GB) is $100 off so it costs $300, here’s the Amazon link and here it is on Best Buy. Fans of long battery life can have a look at the Moto G Power (2021) (4/64 GB), which is $180 on Amazon and on Best Buy. There is also a Moto G Stylus (2021) (128 GB) for $230 on Best Buy.
Samsung switched over to Wear OS for this generation of watches. The cheapest one – a 40 mm Galaxy Watch4 – is currently $200 on Amazon and Best Buy. You can get it at the same price from Samsung, which also has some trade-in deals. The more interesting offer is getting the Galaxy Buds2 and a Trio Charging Pad for $140 extra. Anyway, the Galaxy Watch4 Classic (42 mm) starts at $350 on Amazon, Best Buy gets down to $330.
Over on the Apple side of the fence, a 40 mm Apple Watch SE is down to $220 ($60 off) on Best Buy. If you prefer the latest Watch Series 7, Best Buy has the 41 mm model for $400 and the 45 mm one for $450.
Alternatively, you can pick up a Fitbit smartwatch or smart band. The popular Versa 3 is $180 on Amazon and Best Buy. The Fitbit Charge 5 has an ECG function, one of the cheapest devices to have it, as it is $130 from Amazon or Best Buy. The flagship Fitbit Sense can be found for $200 on Best Buy.
