Ebay can be a good place to snag a bargain at the best of times.

But, like every other retailer on the internet right now, the online auction house has launched its Black Friday price cuts for 2021.

Even though Black Friday is slated for tomorrow, deals will be running for the next few days.

Here’s the Ebay hub for all the Black Friday price cuts.

We’ve zeroed in on a couple of tech-based ones that may interest you.

If you spot any more that are worthy of inclusion, let us know in the comments beneath this article.

  • For starters, the famed Nintendo Switch has been dropped from £299.99 to £239.99, a 20% saving of £60. You can find that deal here.
  • Next, there’s a discount running on Google’s Home smart speaker. It’s down £10 (25%) from £39.95 to £29.95. You can find that deal here.
  • A refurbished Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has been discounted by £130 (£39%) from £329.99 to £199.99. You can find that deal here.
  • You can bag a refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max for £80 (11%) less as it’s been reduced to £669.95. You can find that deal here.
  • Lastly, there’s the HOMCOM Treadmill Machine down 58% from £439.98 to £184.99. You can find that deal here.

We’ll keep an eye open for more deals coming from Ebay and will update this article when they come through.

Metro.co.uk’s Black Friday shopping sense check

We love to bring you the best available bargains for Black Friday, but don’t want you to go into debt or suffer financial hardship as a result.

When shopping the sales, ask yourself these questions to ensure you’re buying smart:

  • Do I need this? If your cooker has broken and needs replaced, this would be an essential purpose, while a new smoothie maker or air fryer is a desire not a need.
  • Can I afford this? If you need to put something on credit – or put off essential spending to purchase it – you can’t afford it. If it’s a ‘want’ purchase, that means you should avoid. If it’s a ‘need’ purchase, look for the most affordable option.
  • Am I buying for the sake of it? Whether it’s a gift or something for yourself, consider if you’re buying just to take advantage of discounts. For the environment and your bank balance, try to buy with intention. This could mean fewer, better quality garments you actually love (instead of throwaway trend-led fashion), or only buying gifts you know will be treasured, rather than disposable trinkets.
